Send editorial complaints to news@theheraldmiddelburg.co.za or WhatsApp +27 64 545 1088. Include the article URL, publication date, the concern, supporting information and your preferred contact details.

Our process

The editor reviews the complaint and available evidence, seeks clarification where needed and responds with the outcome. Where an error is established, we correct it with an appropriate explanation. We handle personal information sensitively and will not publish a complainant’s private contact details without permission.

If you disagree with the outcome, reply with the reasons and any additional evidence for reconsideration. Privacy concerns can also be raised with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
